Maria Rodriguez AKA Sparkykneecap is a Mexican artist from Van Nuys, CA living in Portland, OR. They studied at and graduated from the Pacific Northwest College of Art, receiving their BFA in Illustration. Through shape and color they often explore themes of identity, culture, and nostalgia while also creating work that is playful and lighthearted.
